Research Visualization
Heatmap 3D
Interactive visual analysis of the keycube studies, with per-participant preference scores and finger reachability mapped directly onto the 3D device.
What is included
22-participant preference dataset with aggregate view
Per-finger and combined reachability analysis across all faces
Interactive 3D keycube viewer tied to study data
Explore the two study modes
Both visualizations share the same 3D model, but expose different interpretations of the studies.
Mode 01
Preference
Inspect individual participants or the mean of the full study. The viewer can isolate one face or show the whole keycube at once.
Participant-by-participant selection
Aggregate mean across all 22 participants
Per-face filtering with on-key score labels
Launch Preference
Mode 02
Reachability
Measure what each finger can realistically access, then compare totals, per-hand reach, or the best-performing finger for every key.
Per-finger heatmaps
Left hand, right hand, total, and best-finger views
Dynamic range adapted to the selected dataset
